Eleanor Klink, Practice Manager
In addition to managing the daily activities of our office, Eleanor will assist you in investigating your insurance benefits. In that capacity, she determines co-payments and deductables, as well as overseeing billing and collections for NJ Bariatrics.
Donna DeMild, Certified Professional Bariatric Life Coach, Patient Relations
Donna, a former bariatric patient herself, will help you develop lasting lifestyle change. She’s also our office liaison for the bariatric fitness program at Princeton Fitness & Wellness Center (PFWC). Additionally, Donna is the administrator of NJ Bariatrics’ support group, free seminars and Lifestyle Classes.
Lauren Sausmer, R.D., Registered Dietician
Lauren will guide you through the pre- and post-op dietary stages. Preoperatively, Lauren will take a detailed nutritional history that includes your diet history and eating patterns. Postoperatively, she’ll council you in the progression of your diet and in making the smartest food choices.
Stuart Zeigler, P.A., Physicians Assitant
Stuart assists our NJ bariatric surgeons during surgery and with patient rounds in the hospital and in the office. You’ll likely meet with Stuart during the pre-op H&P (history and physical) and continue to see him during your hospital stay and post-op office visits.
Miriam Briscese, Reception, Precertification
Miriam is likely to be the one to answer the phone if you prefer to call to schedule your consultation. You’ll meet her face to face when she welcomes you to our office. Miriam also works with the precertification of Dr. Chau’s patients to be sure all insurance criteria are met.
Leslie Urobshurow, Medical Assistant
When you arrive at our office for your consultation, Leslie will weigh you and take your vital signs. Afterward, she’ll escort you to the exam room to see one of our doctors. She also performs many clerical duties at the office.
