Third: A meeting with our practice manager comes next. She’s extremely knowledgeable about the insurance process. She’ll discuss your payment options and the nuances of being approved for surgery.

You’ll also be given information about our support system, including pre-op and post-op programs to promote lifelong success in your weight management.
“During my consultation, Dr. Brolin was very thorough in explaining the risks, complications, and aftercare. The strongest impression I have of Dr. Brolin (besides his surgical abilities) is that he truly and sincerely cares about each patient as an individual and feels great happiness in helping to save their lives.”

This request is generally made in patients with comorbidites (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.) or when the preoperative blood tests, EKG or check x-ray show and unexpected result.
After the results of your tests have been reviewed, you’ll be contacted with a date for your surgery. We’ll also provide you with additional guidelines to help you prepare for surgery.
Now that you understand what will take place during your initial consultation and evaluation, the next step is to request an appointment. We’ll likely be able to see you within the next week or two. Afterward, you’ll be well on your way to a thinner you!
